1 Samuel 19:5

SV	Want hij heeft zijn ziel in zijn hand gezet, en hij heeft den Filistijn geslagen, en de HEERE heeft een groot heil aan het ganse Israel gedaan; gij hebt het gezien, en gij zijt verblijd geweest; waarom zoudt gij dan tegen onschuldig bloed zondigen, David zonder oorzaak dodende?
WLC	וַיָּשֶׂם֩ אֶת־נַפְשֹׁ֨ו בְכַפֹּ֜ו וַיַּ֣ךְ אֶת־הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗י וַיַּ֨עַשׂ יְהוָ֜ה תְּשׁוּעָ֤ה גְדֹולָה֙ לְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל רָאִ֖יתָ וַתִּשְׂמָ֑ח וְלָ֤מָּה תֶֽחֱטָא֙ בְּדָ֣ם נָקִ֔י לְהָמִ֥ית אֶת־דָּוִ֖ד חִנָּֽם׃
Trans.	wayyāśem ’eṯ-nafəšwō ḇəḵapwō wayyaḵə ’eṯ-hapəlišətî wayy^a‘aś JHWH təšû‘â ḡəḏwōlâ ləḵāl-yiśərā’ēl rā’îṯā watiśəmāḥ wəlāmmâ ṯeḥĕṭā’ bəḏām nāqî ləhāmîṯ ’eṯ-dāwiḏ ḥinnām:

AC	ה וישם את נפשו בכפו ויך את הפלשתי ויעש יהוה תשועה גדולה לכל ישראל--ראית ותשמח ולמה תחטא בדם נקי להמית את דוד חנם
ASV	for he put his life in his hand, and smote the Philistine, and Jehovah wrought a great victory for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice; wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?
BE	For he put his life in danger and overcame the Philistine, and the Lord gave all Israel salvation: you saw it and were glad: why then are you sinning against him who has done no wrong, desiring the death of David without cause?
Darby	for he put his life in hand, and smote the Philistine, and Jehovah wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou didst see [it], and didst rejoice; why then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, in slaying David without cause?
ELB05	Und er hat sein Leben aufs Spiel gesetzt und den Philister erschlagen, und Jehova hat dem ganzen Israel eine große Rettung geschafft. Du hast es gesehen und dich gefreut; und warum willst du dich an unschuldigem Blute versündigen, indem du David tötest ohne Ursache?
LSG	il a exposé sa vie, il a tué le Philistin, et l'Eternel a opéré une grande délivrance pour tout Israël. Tu l'as vu, et tu t'en es réjoui. Pourquoi pécherais-tu contre le sang innocent, et ferais-tu sans raison mourir David?
Sch	Denn er hat sein Leben aufs Spiel gesetzt und den Philister erschlagen, und der HERR hat ganz Israel ein großes Heil bereitet. Das hast du gesehen und dich dessen gefreut. Warum willst du dich denn an unschuldigem Blut versündigen, indem du David ohne Ursache tötest?
